Bio

Hello!

My name is Sadie, I am a multi-form creative. Through my work as a Documentary Film & Podcast Producer, my mission is to craft stories that expand our consciousness and re-humanize the people, places, and problems that our systems of power are designed to dehumanize.

In my artistic practice as a painter, I make meaning of the mess. Making art is more than a choice; it is how I find my way through the dark. It is the vessel through which I own my truth and love myself through the process.

To me, art + storytelling are inextricably connected. The art we make inform the stories we tell and the stories we tell influence the art we make. I am building my life to exist at the intersection of these practices and strive to help others walk into that space - doing so makes us a little more honest and a lot more human.

Currently, I am an Associate Producer at Principle Pictures. I am also co-producing a short impact film with Pathos Labs. I hold a BA in international affairs from Northeastern University and a Graduate Certificate in documentary filmmaking from the Institute of Documentary Filmmaking at The George Washington University. I produced the award-winning documentary short ONE FALL about the return of independent professional wrestling to our nation's capitol.

"Many stories matter. Stories have been used to dispossess and to malign. But stories can also be used to empower, and to humanize. Stories can break the dignity of a people. But stories can also repair that broken dignity." - Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
